PACK PLUS
First half 2011
PROBODELT already markets the PACK PLUS, mass trapping system for Ceratitis capitata, very effective and very easy to use. It consists of:
Fly Trap Maxitrap PLUS
Insecticide Cover KillTap
Attractant Ceratitis 1 difusser SEDQ.
It needs no manipulation: you take the fly trap of the shipping box and hangs directly on the tree.
Its efficacy to reduce the density of traps by 20 %: for citrus, 40 traps /ha.

Mass trapping with fly trap MAXITRAP by Probodelt stands out in Huelva as the best system for Ceratitis control. This statement was made because of the results that appear in the 2010/11 report of the Huelva Province Citrus Farmers Association "Asociación de Citricultores de la Provincia de Huelva (ACPH)".
La eficacia de los distintos sistemas de control de Ceratitis aplicados en Huelva se analizó a partir de la comparación de la densidad de población de mosca en las parcelas correspondientes. Un menor número de capturas en la zona significa una menor densidad de población y, por consiguiente, una mayor eficacia de la técnica
The following control systems were compared:
Two mass trapping options with fly trap MAXITRAP by Probodelt with a dry attractant. The first one by using Probodelt attractant manufactured by SEDQ (red line). The second one with Biolure Unipack attractant (blue line)
Two options of Attrack & Kill (purple and green lines)
A variation of mass trapping with liquid attractant (orange line)
The diagram shows that combining fly trap MAXITRAP by Probodelt with the attractant manufactured by Sedq has made it possible to keep the fly population at lower levels throughout the whole season. This combination has even avoided some specific increases in the population which were noticed during the second half of the campaign in areas controlled by means of other techniques.

From 23rd to 25th February 2011 held at the IX Cartaya CITFRESA EXPO-FAIR. PROBODELT with AGRONEW, its distributor in the area, have announced the most outstanding products for the control of Ceratitis capitata
With the combination of these two products you get more captures than any other fly trapr, so that we can reduce the density of traps by 20%: in citrus it is recommended a dose of 40 traps per hectare.
